Calculators Arena tests every public calculator for function, mathematical consistency and source clarity. This page records the cases used, the evidence behind each method, and the limits of the result. A passed check reflects the named version and review date; game patches and user-entered assumptions can still change what happens later.
Latest site-wide functional review: 20 September 2026. Ten public calculators were opened on the live site. The Damage and Level tools were rebuilt to remove unsupported formulas, and their examples, validation, rounding, copy controls and mobile layouts were checked. No calculator is presented as an official game client or real-time server feed.
Current calculator verification register
| Calculator | Verification performed | Result status | Important limitation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Percentage Increase | Original 100 and new value 125 returned a 25% increase. Zero-start handling, negative results and final rounding were reviewed. | Passed | A percentage increase is undefined when the original value is zero; the page explains that case rather than inventing a result. |
| KG to LBS | One kilogram returned approximately 2.205 pounds after display rounding. Reverse conversion and decimal input were also exercised. | Passed | Displayed decimals are rounded; they should not be treated as measurement precision beyond the source value. |
| WoW TBC Arena Points | The published Anniversary formula and bracket multipliers were compared with the site’s independent rating table. At 1,500 rating the table returns 845, 978 and 1,111 points for 2v2, 3v3 and 5v5. | Passed against displayed formula | Blizzard’s current participation and eligibility rules still determine whether a weekly payout is earned. |
| WoW TBC Resilience | Rating and level controls were changed and the mitigation output was checked for consistent direction and reset behavior. | Functional test passed | This is a planning conversion. The current in-game character sheet and tooltip remain the final check. |
| WoW TBC Honor | Editable honor, match and time assumptions were changed. Totals and time estimates updated without a page reload. | Functional test passed | Honor per match and queue time are user assumptions, not live battleground telemetry. |
| WoW TBC Arena Gear Planner | Saved points, weekly payout and item choices were changed. Purchase timing recalculated and responded to the new inputs. | Functional test passed | Item costs and season availability are editable because game phases and vendor lists can change. |
| Palworld Stats | Stat inputs were changed and comparative outputs updated. The page was reviewed to ensure it does not present the model as server-exact. | Planning model passed | Passives, partner skills, hidden modifiers and version changes can make live-game results differ. |
| Palworld Level Grind Planner | The worked case used levels 20–25, 250,000 total XP, 50,000 earned, 5,000 XP per activity, ten minutes per activity and two hours per day. | Input-based planner passed: 200,000 XP remaining, 40 activities, about 6.7 hours and 4 play days. | The visitor supplies the current-game XP totals and activity average; the tool does not invent an XP curve. |
| Palworld Damage Comparison | The worked test compared hits of 118, 121 and 120 with 130, 134 and 132. Equal averages, invalid inputs and optional timing were also checked. | Observed comparison passed: averages 119.67 and 132, with Build B about 10.3% higher. | The result describes the entered controlled tests; it does not reconstruct Palworld’s hidden damage formula. |
| Palworld Resource | Quantity changes updated material totals. The Pal Sphere preset was checked against the version 1.0 recipe; other unverified presets remain visibly labelled as legacy. | Official preset passed; legacy presets disclosed | Players should verify legacy recipes in their current game version before farming materials. |
How we test a calculator
1. Verify the calculation basis
For ordinary mathematics and unit conversion, we write the formula in normal page text so a reader can reproduce it without running JavaScript. For a game calculator, we distinguish between an official published rule, an adjustable planning model and a legacy dataset. A result is not described as “exact” unless the underlying inputs and rule justify that word.
2. Use reproducible test inputs
We test at least one simple value that can be checked manually, then change inputs to confirm the result responds in the correct direction. Where zero, negative or impossible values matter, we review the page’s handling of those cases. For tables, rounding is applied at the stage stated on the page so a reader can reproduce the displayed integer.
3. Separate arithmetic from eligibility
A formula can be mathematically correct while a player is ineligible for a reward. The Arena Points Calculator therefore keeps the points curve separate from weekly participation rules. Likewise, the Honor and Gear tools expose adjustable assumptions instead of pretending to know a player’s future queues, wins, item availability or server state.
4. Check the actual live interface
We open the published page, enter or select values, and confirm that the visible result changes. We also check labels, keyboard-reachable controls, a single page heading, canonical URL and indexability. This catches problems that a formula review alone cannot find, such as a disconnected input or a result that is never announced to assistive technology.
Source hierarchy
- Primary sources first: official publisher notes, government guidance or a defined mathematical conversion.
- Current version labels: date-sensitive pages state a review date or game version.
- Transparent estimates: when an official complete dataset is not available, the output is labelled as a planning or comparison model.
- No invented credentials: editorial responsibility is attributed to Calculators Arena and Badar Ashfaq without claiming professional qualifications that are not held.
- Corrections: readers can report a reproducible mismatch through the contact page. Reports should include the calculator URL, inputs, expected result and source.
Primary references used by the gaming tools
The Arena Points calculation is based on Blizzard’s published Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary formula. Palworld version disclosures and the verified Pal Sphere recipe use the official Palworld version 1.0 announcement. When these sources change, the affected calculator should be reviewed before its version label is advanced.
Change log
- 16 September 2026: completed a live functional pass of all ten public calculators; documented test inputs, model type and limitations; removed repeated donation prompts from calculator bodies.
- 20 September 2026: replaced the Palworld Damage relative model with an observed-hit comparison and replaced the Level planning curve with a user-entered XP and activity planner. Updated both pages, methods, examples and metadata.
- 30 August 2026: recalculated the Arena Points comparison table from the displayed Blizzard formula and added reproducible 1,500, 1,800 and 2,200 rating examples.
- 26 August 2026: corrected Palworld pages for version 1.0, disclosed legacy presets and replaced “exact” damage language with a relative comparison model.
What this register does not guarantee
A passed test means the public tool worked for the documented cases on the review date. It does not guarantee that a game publisher will never change a formula, that every community value is current, or that a visitor entered the correct measurements. Each calculator’s stated assumptions and limits still control how its result should be used.
For the rules we use to create, review and correct pages, read the Editorial Policy and Methodology.
