I’m Badar Ashfaq, the person responsible for Calculators Arena. I publish and maintain the site through Legacy Fleet Partners LLC. That means I choose which tools go live, check the sources behind them, test representative inputs, and handle correction reports.
The public collection currently concentrates on World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade and Palworld planning tools. I also keep a percentage-increase calculator and a kilogram–pound converter because visitors actively use them. Calculators Arena is independent: I do not work for Blizzard Entertainment or Pocketpair, and none of the gaming tools is an official game client.
What earns a place on this site
A calculator should do more than return a number. Its page should explain the method, show an example that can be checked by hand, identify important assumptions, and say what the result cannot tell you. Representative checks are listed in the public testing register.
Game data comes with different levels of confidence, so I separate it into three practical groups:
- Official formula: an identifiable publisher source controls the calculation.
- Planning model: you enter the assumptions and the tool shows the arithmetic.
- Community or legacy data: the values are not a current official feed and must be checked in the game.
If the available evidence cannot support what a page promises, I change the tool or remove it from publication until it can be verified. That is why some old pages are not currently public.
How I check a calculator
Before publication I run ordinary examples, blank inputs, boundary values, and at least one hand calculation. For a game tool I also check the named patch, season, or source and make sure assumptions are visible outside the calculator code. After an update I open the live page on both mobile and desktop and use the controls as a visitor would.
Software and AI assistance
Software and AI tools may help organise notes, draft code, or spot inconsistent wording. They do not decide whether a claim is true. I remain responsible for the published result, the final wording, and corrections. Important game claims are linked to a source or labelled as an assumption instead of being presented as fact.
Funding and independence
The site may earn advertising revenue and accepts optional support through Ko-fi. A payment does not alter formulas, test outcomes, or correction decisions, and every calculator remains usable without paying or tipping.
Corrections
For the quickest investigation, send the page URL, every input, the result shown, the result expected, and the relevant game version. A screenshot is particularly useful for vendor prices and recipes. Email info@calculatorsarena.com or use the Contact page.
