WoW TBC Arena Gear Planner

This planner connects the arena points already saved, the highest eligible weekly estimate, and the cost of the items selected. It builds a week-by-week route and flags rating requirements or point-cap conflicts before they derail the plan.

Built and tested by Badar Ashfaq. Defaults can become outdated after a season change, so item costs and requirements remain editable and the in-game vendor is the final check.

Fan-made planning tool. World of Warcraft and Blizzard are trademarks of their respective owners. This site is not affiliated with Blizzard Entertainment. Season 3 prices were reviewed on 1 September 2026. Results remain planning estimates and may differ if Blizzard changes vendor costs, requirements, or formulas.

A practical way to use the planner
      1. Enter the arena points you have now.
      2. Add rating and games played for each bracket used this week.
      3. Select only the items you genuinely plan to buy.
      4. Compare every default cost and rating requirement with the current vendor.
      5. Read the weekly route, then change the purchase order or future-rating assumption to test another plan.

How the weekly estimate is chosen

The planner applies Blizzard’s published Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary curve and the 2v2, 3v3, or 5v5 bracket multiplier. Only brackets meeting the entered participation requirement can feed the roadmap. When several brackets qualify, it uses the highest estimate.

The independent Arena Points Table gives reproducible values at common ratings. At 1,500 rating it shows 845 points for 2v2, 978 for 3v3, and 1,111 for 5v5 after final rounding. The formula and multipliers are documented in Blizzard’s official explanation.

      Worked purchase timeline

Take a player with 500 points saved and an eligible 3v3 individual rating of 1,500, with 10 games played. The calculation estimates 978 points at the next reset. Select the planner’s 1,550-point Chest as the only goal: it has no rating lock in this editable example, and the player needs 1,050 more points to afford it.

      • After one estimated reset: 1,478 points; 72 short of the Chest.
      • After two: 2,456 points before buying; the planner can purchase the 1,550-point Chest and leave 906 points.

The example holds rating and participation constant, assumes no earlier purchase, and uses a single selected item. Check the current vendor price before relying on the result. The interactive roadmap can test a different purchase order or future-rating assumption, and it shows point-cap risk.

      Costs, requirements, and purchase order

The displayed item list is a dated planning set, not a live game feed. A hotfix can change an item, price, or requirement before this page is revised. Enough points do not unlock an item when the current rating rule is not met; meeting a rating threshold does not supply missing currency.

Cheapest first spends on the least expensive eligible item. Most expensive first preserves currency for the largest purchase. Weapon first and set first use the selected category preference. Manual order follows the list you choose. The reset count may change because each purchase changes what remains available for the next one.

      Limits and verification

The tool cannot predict future rating, participation, item availability, or hotfixes. A future-rating entry is an assumption, not a forecast. Honor is displayed separately and is never added to arena points. This is an unofficial fan tool and is not affiliated with Blizzard Entertainment.
